Tom Snyder, owner of Tiki Motel, watches as new sign (which he designed) is installed at 311 East Main. The Tiki Motel was originally called The Rest Haven, and was built by Charlie and Elmo Hardy.

A giant sized polynesian religious symbol attracts a lot of attention from travelers along Highway 40. The Tiki Motel was located at 311 East Main and was operated by Mr. and Mrs. Tom Syder.
