There's a pic of the same bowl in Kohalacharms's collection toward the bottom of this page:

It's sandwiched between the two Gremlin bowls which are from Trader Vics, so I'm guessing this is a Trader Vics design as well. I know I've seen discussion on it somewhere but can't remember what thread.
