bailey, you might have better luck selling the Holy Grail to the Knights of the Templar than trying to push that mug here with a made up asking price from some unverifiable outside entity. Best of luck to you in your quest, beware the relentless infidels who will try and offer you less than you're righteously entitled to for possessing this piece of Tiki history. Maybe the guy who told you it's worth $700 will feel like you've done him a great honor by allowing him to buy it, you could even offer it to him for $600 and consider the discount a consulting fee for his time involved with providing the estimated value of this.
