Very sound reasoning. I turned 50 earlier this year, and this trip was my way to celebrate a half century of living.

For those who can't wait 4 years, there is another big South Pacific arts Festival that takes place once every four years, happening next July (2012) in the Solomon Islands. I doubt that I'll make it, but it is tempting.
