As we have established here before (in another thread) this wonderful set was NOT manufactured by Witco - which does in no way detract from its coolness! Witco itself is not an unassailable mark of perfection, they have done some worse designs than this. The other thing that should be noted is that the cool modernist shapes on the furniture are not carved wood, but some type of resin or such (as far as I understand from second hand info).
