Here's how crappy: it's not even really a party, it's a cheap trick to get help unloading my moving crates. F$*!ing Door-to-Door Storage hasn't been answering any of the messages I've been leaving for them for a week, and now they can't get my stuff to my new apartment until Christmas Eve. I've got a call out to a moving staffing company to see if they'll be able to get me a couple of guys to help, but since it's a holiday, I don't know yet if it's doable. I don't have a lot of stuff, but there's plenty of things that are too big/heavy for me to move myself -- if anyone knows of a moving company that won't charge an arm & a leg to work on the holiday, that would be ideal. However, since there may be someone out there who's facing spending the holiday sad & alone, you now have the option of spending it sad & with me. We can make some hot buttered rum & get all hopped up on Christmas candy, and sing naughty carols while we unload. Once we have the TV unloaded, we can watch sappy xmas movies. I have Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas, Robbie the Reindeer, the Star Wars Christmas special, and all sorts of other semi-crappy xmas videos. The crates are supposed to arrive between 8 & 11am, so we'll likely be done by 3pm at the very, very latest. Anyone? Anyone??
