MDM, I have had monkfish before, and I can affirm that it does taste like lobster. Never caught one, as they live in the Atlantic on the east coast. Funny timing on your post, I went Lobster hoop netting on Friday night and bagged a couple of bugs.
BBQ Lobster for dinner last night with potatoes Au Gratin and steamed broccoli. Tasted like monkfish.
