Cool Story...

So everyone has seen this mug, and if you're like me, you have dozens of them. I buy them for .50-$1.00 when I see them.

But this one was different...and the story with it was well worth the $2.00

I had never seen one that was a pipe stand. Guy told me that he smoked a pipe while he was in Viet Nam. Him and his buddies had a Hawaiian Catalog and they would pick out stuff they wanted from Hawaii. The guys going to the islands for R&R would bring back the stuff for them. So he used this pipe stand while he was in the Viet Nam war. He brought it home after the war, but stopped smoking a pipe. He said it had been in a box for the last 20-30 years....

I told him the story was awesome and that his pipe stand would now be in my tiki hut....among many other things that were probably from that catalog

Think about it, this pipe stand was carved in the Philippines, sent to hawaii, shipped to viet nam, and then brought back to the states. Cool...........
