But with the recent wildfire spread of the eagle snatching a kid "kindersnatchen" (CGI from some enterprising students in Montreal) I think it might be time to consider a drink or a mug design for the extinct Te Hokioi (aka Haast's Eagle, Te Pouakai)

I've looked for petroglyph images described in some narratives for visual inspiration, but can not find a photo (may be protected or sacred site, or simply few photos).

A war canoe in the Auckland museum has one carved as part of its prow, but I wanted to confirm this is accurate or just conjecture before posting.
