Trader Vic's, Dallas, TX (restaurant) - Locating Tiki

T tikilongbeach Tiki Socialite Long Beach, CA via Dallas, TX Joined: Aug 05, 2011 Posts: 1686	T tikilongbeach Posted posted on Wed, Dec 26, 2012 9:13 AM I took my parent's to Don the Beachcomber for Christmas dinner yesterday and on the trip over I asked them if they had ever been to a Polynesian restaurant and they said that they had gone to Trader Vic's quite a bit in the 1970's. My brother and I were always asking them to take us there because we loved the huge flaming tiki torches and moai that stood guard. Alas, they never took us and they never told me that they went until now. They don't have any pictures or souvenirs of their visits to TV Dallas, but they thought that Don's looked a lot like it.
