It's the return of the Astronauts Space Age Lounge Combo to the Chef for the 3rd Saturday February 16th...

...in case you've never had the pleasure of seeing them, these guys play everything from Henry Mancini, the theme song from the Blob, to the classic "Jaan Pehechaan Ho", hell yeah!!! It's goina be a packed house, so please call ahead for reservations at 708-442-7080.

The drink special for Saturday 2/16 is a Bora Bora served in Collector Mug for $18.00, plus the usual (huge) selection of tropical drinks and asian fusion cuisine to help everyone through the night. What better way to warm up a cold February night than with the space age lounge sound of The Astronauts and the tropical ambiance of Chef Shangri-La?

PS: Also a special treat for ya'll so mark your calendar now, cuz The Concussions will be playing 2 smokin' sets @ the Chef on Saturday evening March 2nd, 9:00pm as part of their Chinese New Year celebration weekend.

Then Chef Shangri-la will be hosting its annual Chinese New Year celebration on Sunday, March 3rd. 1st show @2:30pm and the 2nd show @5pm. For the second year the Internationally well-known troupe called the Flying Fairies will be entertaining patrons with traditional Chinese dancing and displaying beautiful Chinese gowns. For parties of 5 or more, please rsvp.

Chef Shangri-la is honoring birthday celebrations during the "Year of the Snake". This offer applies ONLY for parties of 5 or more and MUST make reservations. The birthday boy/girl will receive a complimentary TWO-SIDED TIKI glass filled with our house special ice cream sundae. (The dessert special starts February 10th, 2013).
