Just had to drop a 20 foot queen and am going to try my hand at creating a few tikis with the 4ft pieces I saved. It's been over 30 years since I carved anything... So I'm here to learn and ask. I tried looking for a few answers and didnt find anything that dealt with my q's... Specifically, I know it is customary to strip the bark off the logs; is that best done now while still "green"? Also, after stripping bark, is it better to dive right in, or let the wood dry and cure? If so, how long? Thanks in advence for any help or pointers! Mahalo
