I have never worked with glazes and such and your explanation was super! Thanks. I'm hoping once the move into the new home is complete I can break out my kiln again and play around. It is a really small kiln, but might be fun to experiment with. The shrunken heads are looking great. I was wondering what the white item was on the one skull and just couldn't tell from the pics until you said the "disc ornament" and now it is really clear. Dale
