Personally I avoid Myers and use Coruba dark instead whenever possible. Not only does it taste way better than Myers but it costs less as well.

Both Coruba and Myers went downhill really badly a few years back, around the same time that the Trader Vics rums got real bad.

for good dark rum, use El Dorrado 15.
