As far as I can see, and for what it's worth (nothing), it goes like this: the guy could use computer programs that others here would like to learn to use. They found his posts, and enthusiasm, helpful. ATP and Hale Tiki were making the point that any 11-year-old today can use a computer program. That doesn't make you an 'artist'. They are not wrong. And Gene, if you were to post your work on any of the given main 'art' sites out there, you would have left after your first post. Those folks make ATP look gentle. Keep posting your tutorials for the folks that find them useful. That was your intent, yes? If you're as old as you say you are, you should be able to take a little criticism w/out packing up & going home.
