Hey - I thought I'd list my sources for tiki & hawaiiana supplies. Most of them you all have heard of, but some might be new. I'd love to hear some of yours, too.

This is a local store for me -- just a couple of blocks away -- but it looks like they sell online, too. I bought my lauhalla mat here, and the pieces I needed for my palm trees.

The old stand-by -- an oasis in the tiki desert that is Seattle. Archie McPhee's is just a short distance from my work. These are the Accoutrements people.

This is where I get all my leis, straws and picks for the Humuhumu Room. Dirt cheap!

This is another local store, where I've been able to a few special items. They don't have a lot on the website yet. It's the only place in Seattle where I can hear pidgin english on a regular basis (not counting 91.3's Saturday radio show).

Myriah has some neat stuff, and is great to work with. I got some unusual items from her, including my hula girl decanter and a classic hula girl tie for my husband.

It's cheesy as hell, but good god, we're talking tiki here, and I think cheesy is okay. Michael's is my source for fake orchids and bromeliads. And I'm not going to be ashamed about it!

Of course, the best buys I've gotten have been from eBay. No link needed.

Boy, now that I look at my list, I'm surprised that there's so much here in Seattle. Why no tiki bars?
