Have spent some time in the past looking at other's home bars for inspiration. Now that I have some space, I've been working on my own and figured I'd join the party. I got my introduction to tiki as a teenager, but once I was of age, I got my true introduction at the delightfully untouched Trader Vic's here in Atlanta. I lived in NYC for a few years and my home away from home was Otto's Shrunken Head in the East Village, where I spent a lot of time either at the bar, playing gigs with my band, or DJing forgotten 45s. It is my favorite bar anywhere. I run the Starlight Drive-In Theatres here in Atlanta, and when I have to head to our home office in Los Angeles, I always make sure to drop into Tiki Ti.
