My husband and I have recently been adding to a small tiki collection we had already had. We are both surrounded by tiki everyday. Mine the (not super authentic) Islands Restaurants where I am a manager and my husband works at Trader Sams at the Disneyland Hotel. I will be posting soon in the "Home Tiki Bars" thread as I have been refinishing a portable bar that was left behind by previous owners at our home. I'm headed to the International Tiki Marketplace Saturday at Don the Beachcomber to find a centerpiece for the front of the bar. Excited to be here and introduce myself after a few months of lurking, and appreciating (read: drooling over) all of your home tiki bars, collections, tiki adventures and homes.
