The problem is that they occupied a lot of wall space in a decorated room so they seem a bit blah. I added some muslin (material) to the back of the shade to block more light but again still blah. So today we took a vintage design and painted on the backside of the material. The result looks great when there is light outside (usually daytime) For this photo I put a green bulb outside to capture the essence of it. Enjoy
