There is a disparity on TC in the many areas you bring up
We definitely have a "League of Back Slappers" (or from my Punk Rock days a "Circle Jerk")looking for self validation
This recent push into political correctness on TC leaves a bad taste in my mouth also

So I too feel jaded, jaded that the history of Tiki is being replaced by new (or younger folks)
who only perceive it as a style or trend to be mashed up into what ever they like, but if you point that out,
you're some kind of Tiki Nazi?
