Here are a couple pics,
The house a 1942 Traditional style housing in Los Angeles. The walls in the bat are still plaster on wood. It had about 10 layers of paint and painting this bath was the hardest thing in the project.
I changes out all the fixtures to the HD Bamboo OB Bronze fixures. Painted the walls a green color, ceiling dark green. Made custom routered door frames, routed out light switch covers. stripped and staing inner side of the door also stained the vanity and the over the toilet cupboard. Added bamboo trim to the vanity. Made a new custom Bamboo framed mirror.. The tile work was already there when I got the house, I just fized some of the grout issues.
My wife made the curtains and found the Moai's in the little boat at the Tiki Marketplace. I found a decent fixture for the ceiling light but will make a could of custom lights soon. I'm also making custom crown molding with Tiki faces, we saw it a bar in Seattle and will make something similar.
I ened up adding some of 50th Aniversary ETR Shag art on one wall. I have space for about 3 more pices of art One of which will have a hidden Tiki Mini bar, I have yet to design and build.
Still have a few things on the to do list..
I need to order brown Decora triple switch and GFI outlet.
Need that rug, more art. I may make or customize the toilet seat cover and tank cover.
I need to add the Lauhala to the insets in the cabinet doors, add the handles to all the cabinets.
Make and router the crown molding and add back lighting rope.
