I volunteered last year by helping make stuff (painting, gluing, etc.) and participated in the parade with using my tiki masks (photo is the haunted house that was pushed on the parade route) following the Modjeska Maiden boat (mini replica of a Jungle Cruise boat). It was a ton of fun. The response from residents of Anaheim was that the parade was rejuvenated with the effort put forth by the group. It's a lot of fun, and being around a lot of creative folks makes it more enjoyable too.
