We met a “mixologist” we hadn’t met before. When he starts his shift he spreads his “kit” out like a surgeon. THe kit includes 3 black Boston shakers and various cool looking bar tending utensils. We chatted a bit-turns out he started out at a tiki bar in Colorado called “Adrift”. He seemed to know quite a bit about tiki/tropical drinks. To watch him work is nothing short of amazing. His name is Andrew Winters and he can walk the walk as well as talk the... . The drinks were outstanding-good as any I have had at “real” tiki bars and better than most places that claim to be a tiki bar.
