Welcome, LitClique, to TC and to tiki! There are lots of great forum topics here, and you'll find yourself coming up to speed very quickly. Your efforts to make good classic cocktails at home will be rewarding and enjoyable. You can reach out to many here in the forums for questions. You WILL be successful simply by following directions/recipes and using quality syrups and ingredients. Don't ignore the joy of making your own syrups as well - it's easy and worth the effort.

A couple of cautions/suggestions though - start building MANY shelves for a tiki mug collection, consider commandeering one full room of your house now while you can and before friends and family realize where you're heading, and sell your most prized possessions to begin buying rum and stuff for the awesome home bar your going to find yourself building. You can do the plumbing and electrical additions now and be done with everything by Christmas! ha...
