Last week I got a chance to try Spy Hop gin from San Juan Island aboard a sailboat named "Spy Hop" owned by some filmmaker friends visiting this hemisphere from Auatralia. Excellint gin, packed with lots of interesting floral botanicals. Just had a couple of ounces neat but would love to mix with it.

Got through the TC outage with the help of several Aku Aku Zombies and a Kon-Tiki Mai Tai thrown in for good measure. I am now completely out of passionfruit syrup and have to decide whether to get some Goya pulp and whip up a batch of homemade or start hitting every Latin grocery within a 20 mile radius trying to find the fantastic store-bought Puerto Rican sirop de parcha that I have grown dependent on and the local store has now stopped carrying.
