[[[((8-0))]]] Recap of Tiki Thirstday XXII, August 14 [[[((8-0))]]]
Visitors from Florida, fresh faces from DC, and a room full of Aloha finery made our Tiki Thirstday XXII a wonderful evening. All together we had 27 Merry Souls over the course of the evening. Special note to those who are worried that if they arrive later in the evening you'll miss out on the fun: lately we've had a nice core of regulars who stop in well after nine, and some after 10, so don't worry about the hour, come on over the water's still fine for some great drinks, great food, and great company.

Special Mahalos to Will Pearce who very ably pinch-mixed for Miss Ling (she was away for her daughter's wedding), and to Chef Fu who has been finding extra time to spend with us at the bar and in the lounge - he cuts a sharp figure when he's wearing his Tiki shirt.

A look ahead: September 4 we will be celebrating Amy's birthday during Tiki Thirstday XXV. Please jigger your schedules and mark your calendars!

(If you have an upcoming birthday you'd like to celebrate on an upcoming Tiki Thirstday, please let me know!)

Aloha!
