Thanks for the photos, TG. I love the opening chapter spread, I wanted that Worlds Fair photo as the Tiki Pop cover, but could not figure out how to colorize it realistically. The Tiki Gardens cover was accepted by both, the museum and Taschen, so it won.

I have not seen that waitress photo before, wonder where they got it from. Weird that they picked Harry Belafonte as the music example. I guess we did not get to touch on Martin Denny in the interview. Oh well, as mentioned here

Their recommended Tiki supplier, Retroplanet.com, does not show the best taste in Tiki mugs, but it DOES offer the "Kiresten Tiki Pop Mug" :)

I hope they sent me a sample issue, I am working in Germany for a while so I won't know til December. Seems like one can't get single issues, just subscriptions.
