I just returned home from my first trip to New Orleans. I had been watching for updates on Latitide 29 in the weeks leading up to the trip. We even had rooms at the Bienville House - before I found out about the opening. Early in our visit we heard from one bartender that they were trying to open on Halloween. Sadly they remained closed during our entire trip but we did get to peek in through a few windows. I guess we'll have to plan another trip at some point in the future.

So close and yet so far.
