Thanks, not doing much these days.

I leave cork outside in my pond to age it.
The chain can soak in salt water,
Shellac and fire are a big help in aging too.
Bleach will give you that total white out thing going on.

Even the old tribe type people used to use dirt and fire, coal, ash ect as a paint of sorts.
It's the small touches that make these things come together.
