My advice,
Worth every penny you pay for it, is:
Palm should be kept inside. It'll last forever there.
You'll know when its dry, when it's light as a feather.
Leave it inside for a year or 2 & you'll know what
I'm talking about.
Want it to live out side?
Use cypress.
