That price reflects embargo though, it should actually plummet the price of Cuban goods now that a legal route has been opened.

It will also likely have a similar impact on the demand that Google Glass experienced when it let the unwashed masses buy the product. The test pilots got mad that they were no longer special and ditched it.

Since we are not talking about a product that was universally banned, you could still buy rum and cigars that were equal to or superior to said country's exports, the allure is lost one the embargo is lifted.
