Alright, I'll preface this with the fact that your 3.5 version is one of my favorite drinks to make at home. I tried the revision and after a couple sips threw in another dash of bitters and a drop of Pernod. I personally like the extra spice and find it gives this drink a better balance, even if the new version is more in line with what the Mai Kai is doing. Glad you're still tinkering though.
