They didn't know how to get rid of is. It sat for a while and got really ripe. They decided they had to do something about it. Problem was they had to cut it up. The local genius suggested explosives. Everyone thought that was a cool idea, and would make for great entertainment. The explosives went off as planned and showered large chunks of putrid whale carcass on the local towns people gathered for the spectacle. I think some clips of it or photos are on the internet somewhere It is suggested that the recent shark infestation at San Onogre is the result of a whale buried on the beach a while back, it emits a plume of odor into the ocean [ Edited by: jonboy on 2004-01-29 18:37 ]
