Today I drew 10 ounces off a small barrel of El Dorado 151 that had been aging 15 days. It tasted great so I thought I might keep some going to see if it could be even better. Great, but nothing like LH 151 flavor-wise. This is all about oak and much mellower than the original ED 151, but unquestionably demerara. Okay, so the reason I am posting on this thread is because here is what I am drinking now - and it's killing! I made a Mai Tai with my aged El Dorado 151 with a float of Hamilton Black Jamaican. I am sure that once I get a hold of the Hamilton Demerara 151, I will be floating that on my Mai Tais, but for right now, this is working way more than fine. Oh, but this is also a knockout.... woooo! Cheers!
