A recap of last week's gathering.

THE MAHALO LIST for Tiki Thirstday XLIII • January 29

South Seas Adventure Mahalos
to Kai Ahe (Peter) who shared with us the fantastic Blu-Ray "South Seas Adventure" a 1958 Cinerama travelog.
(This is worth a repeat, because it is so good we watched it again!)

Sweet 16 Mahalos
to those Merry Souls whose Aloha Spirits are not daunted by the falling mercury! You keep the snow off the torches and burning bright.

No Amount of Mahalos are Enough
for Chef Fu who encourages our Island Madness, and Miss Ling who always delights us with her drinks and somehow manages to keep up with a lounge full of thirsty Tiki people.

Please Note: Chinese New Year falls on a Thursday (February 19) this year. House of Foong Lin will be open, but there will not be a Tiki Thirstday hosted there that night.

If anyone would like to propose an alternative gathering place in the DC/MD/VA area for February 19th, please contact me.
