N' Don the Beach Comber was a hoot - that place is ALWAYS fun! When I got back to da' island, I had a 3 day design and building EXPO here in Kona on the big Island and sold a bunch of Tiki Art. Seems like lots of local folks now know who I am , and I even got interviewed by the local radio station, and talked about TIKI ART. Check out da' Market place if you like stuff like that and have a need of such in your home Tiki Bar! On the back is a swanky Certificate of Authenticity. Talks about where I got the title "The Moon of Manakoora" - the flick from 1937 & Dorothy Lamour. I tried working on the NIGHT MARCHERS / BLACK CAT painting at the EXPO, but spent most of the time talking to folks, and not really painting. Laters, though we took a drive by the local K-MART and we saw they were selling my TIKI CAT Towels! Wow, that's so freaky seeing my art out i the main stream … don't know if I'll EVER get used to that!! Big Aloha! B Parker~
