Hot buttered rum, sharing with a friend sitting around my backyard fire pit. We drank two versions - original with Mt. Gay Eclipse rum, then Cruzan silver with a splash of lime. Pretty good with both rums, although the gold rum is more traditional. The batter takes a bit of work to make in your kitchen, but the end result is worth the effort. And the batter keeps a LONG time in the fridge. If you find yourself using it too slowly, freeze it. Sorry, no pics... Didn't even think about it until now when I'm crawling back into the house... |
