There are quite a few creases in both that are similar.

...and the tops:

The opening of the TV bowl in noticably larger than the saxon...obviously carved out larger after casting, but the dimples inside are also similar.

'Therefore, I've concluded that the victim was murdered by a violent blow to the cranium with a Trader Vic or similary cast conch shell bowl.".......wait, let me get out of character.

Ahem...... the bowls share similar molds.

I just thought I'd throw this into the mix. I've got a white on the outside pink on the inside conch bowl. Mine is probably a hobbyist bowl.
