I've been working on a couple different projects but I had to get back to carving a mug yesterday. Since I had built a cylinder and it had dried out a bit too much for what I was planning to do to it, I decided to just play with it. I chose a sketch from my book and did a quick carve. It still needs some trimming at the top (uneven) and need to sand the bottom flat, but I'm not planning on doing much more refinement. Just a quick one and then back to the other projects. Here's some photos of the build. Again, thanks for looking.
