I found this site in my rekindled (childhood) quest to find all things Tiki/Polynesian. My interest goes way back as a boy when my father threw Luau parties at home along with a boatload of Polynesian music to go with it. I used to listen to "Quite Island" and other stuff letting my imagination take me "there". I did some odd tiki crafts as a kid, including building a scale Polynesian dugout , but left behind my interest as I pursued college, family etc. Now out of the blue I have become re-interested in all things Tiki. Last year during my vaca I decided to attempt to create my first Moai. It was my first casting...pictured...go easy Other than that, I am a freelance illustrator with my own site specializing in ancient civilizations (Rome, Egypt, etc). Aloha!
