Susane-

This is about the higher ups for sure, but it certainly doesn't exempt the people involved. C'mon now. They know exactly (well who knows in this case) what they're doing. And let's be frank...they're music AND so-called talent sucks. I mean it really sucks. Lowest common denominator FOR SURE. The fact that they get all the exposure (no pun) is definitely due to the higher ups.

You know, I'm not offended by nudity or foul language. If you were born in the 60s, I think it's safe to say that you grew up in a much 'looser' world than maybe your grandparents did. What I find offensive, or should I say annoying is that alot of entertainers feel that they have to incorporate sex into their schtick to give themselves some kind of street-cred so the mainstream masses think they're cool. The more they show their tits or crotches and the more foul language they use in a FCC regulated environment makes them feel like they're pushing the envelope because after all, they are 'artists' or at leas that's what they claim to be. Keep sex or porn or whatever BLUE. Keep it underground where it used to be. Lenny Bruce, Russ Meyer, Hugh Hefner, Al Goldstein, Xavier Hollander... keep it with the adults. (and the teens looking for the stuff in dad's closet)

The millions of kids watching that performance on the Super Bowl don't need to see that stuff yet, nor do they need to see all that crap on MTV. I'm not interested in living in a world where the next generation of young people think it's cool to whip it out during 'family hour'.
