Hi everyone-

I've been enjoying the fabulous info on here for quite a while (especially the vintage pics), but didn't really feel like I could rightfully jump in until I had my own tiki space. My husband and I live in beautiful Vermont now, but I grew up in Philly. I've been a Polynesian addict since I was a baby. My parents took me to Kona Kai in Philadelphia for every bday and special occasion. It was my very favorite place on Earth. When we traveled, I made my mom seek out tiki spots--I looooved to hang out in dark cocktail lounges as a kid! Hmmm...I guess that should have been an early hint...

Then I was married at the Polynesian Resort in Disneyworld when I was 19. I've collected little bits and pieces of tiki-ness over the years, and I'm excited to now bring it all together in one magical space. Everyone's fabulous pics on here have been such an inspiration. Many thanks for all of your phenomenal creativity.
