A double recap for July 2 and July 9.
The July 2nd kick-off to the long holiday weekend proved to be a more popular Tiki night out than we expected. We had a great turnout. Before the night was over, it was standing room only at the bar and a full lounge spilling over into the dining room. Old friends recently back from Ohana Luau at the Lake and Hukilau and new friends in from Baltimore made it a great time.

July 9 was made special by our first "Drive-in" night. Mahalos to Peter who brought in some island themed B movies. With the sound off, watching turned into a hilarious Tiki version of Mystery Science Theater, with the dialog from the bar better than anything on the DVD.

Mahalos to the many regulars who keep our Tiki Thirstday torches burning.

And Endless Mahalos to both Chef Fu and Miss Ling who not only serve up great food and drink, but allow us the hospitality of House of Foong Lin for our weekly gatherings.

Aloha,
Dr. Coruba
