I was searching around on the Library of Congress web site in the database for Architecture, Design and Engineering Drawings and found these plans. I'm sure they are for the same Tiki Truck Stop listed in James "Tiki Road Trip" on p. 130. The thumbnails are pretty small and it is difficult to make out any detail. I wonder if the plans have any details or design sketches for the sign pictured in Jame's book? Anyone in the D.C. area ever make it to the Library of Congress? I would love to spend a weekend there, I'm kind of a research junky.
