We usually go mid-afternoon, partially for that reason. I'd avoid busy times like Friday & Saturday nights when it can get pretty crowded.

Our tradition is also to go early on Monday mornings, for one last visit before heading to the airport to go home. We're often the only customers at that time, which is nice. The problem is, people have been smoking in that building 24 hours a day for decades. So even if no one is actively smoking while you're there, it still stinks and I can still feel it.
