The brown underglaze will (hopefully) be visible through the Aqua glaze. The clay body is Laguna B Mix, which is pretty white- I haven't worked with it for a while so excited to see how the Aqua turns out. It won't "burn away," poor use of words on my part! I did build another mug with same underglaze with a clear gloss glaze, am curious to see how that one turns out.
