Tom & I discovered some time ago table legs
& bed posts are great for carving.
They are better wood, dried & cared for.
We look for them at goodwill & faith farm
kind of places. They have a pile of mismatched
pieces & they don't cost much.

Good job.
I like how you lost the shape of the wood.
