A Tiki Thirstday Escape August 15, 2019 - Other Events

Sorry for not posting sooner, but after a 2 month holiday hiatus, I just got out of the habit. The good news is that the Tiki torches are lit again, literally, at the House of Foong Lin which has been our host for our Tiki Thirstday meet up since 2014. Thanks to a generous donation by one of our Thirstday-ers (mahalo, Peter!), HoFL was give a really nice set of Tiki torches and special stands which Chef Fu now sets up and lights up out front of the restaurant on Tiki Thirstday nights. Along with the fireplace roaring inside on chilly nights, it makes for a nice addition to the ambiance of the evening. It is grand to see the regulars back and Miss Ling serving up Mai Tais and other exotic cocktails at the bar. If you are in the Maryland/DC/Northern Virginia area, please drop by and join us. Aloha!
