Cool story. Sunny Sund was a shrewd business women for sure. The only time I can remember someone defeating the Beachcomber Co. in court over the name infringement was the Beachcomber in Canada - of course that was adjudicated in Canada. But I digress, I have this nice old menu from the Trade Winds in Milwaukee, this is the first time I have heard any history on the place.
Like the old school graphics.
