Cool story. Sunny Sund was a shrewd business women for sure.

That is very polite way of saying. Wonder if she had someone start ignition on car afterwards. (Car bomb Frank "Mad Bomber" Balistrieri method of attending to business problems.) I am certain we are all grateful for Tradewinds menu. Excellent, as usual.

Not finding lawsuit for Tradewinds to Gallagher's Steak House conversion. Could author be mistaken? The blog quoted in first post has a few inconsistencies. For example, Wisconsin is America's Dairyland. Why Mafia interested in Wisconsin cheese? No. Not for money laundering. During Prohibition the cheese manufacturing easily converted to distill alcohol. Lawsuit not entirely necessary; link from Tradewinds to Gallagher's: same telephone number, both owned by Tradewinds, Inc. Another Frank Balistrieri signature, corporate shell game. If the transformation to Gallagher's result of second lawsuit, why not rename Trader Frank's and keep the tiki?

Gallagher's Steak House:

So. Mafia tiki.
